A team of allied health professionals here to support independent living and development

Talk Health Therapy brings together physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and remedial massage therapists alongside the operations, compliance, and triage staff who keep referrals moving and audits on track.

Across the team, qualifications range from Bachelor’s degrees in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, and exercise science, through to Honours degrees, a PhD in medical research, and diplomas and certificates in remedial massage, myotherapy, and disability support.

As we continue to grow and expand our service delivery across the Brisbane region, we’re also creating more ways for clients and families to access allied health support closer to home. Our recent acquisition of Squish Kids, a well-established paediatric occupational therapy practice with more than 15 years of history in the Redland City community, is part of that growth, bringing additional paediatric experience into the wider Talk Health Therapy team and helping us support more children and families across the region.

What makes Talk Health a team with a difference?

At Talk Health Therapy, we believe that personalised care is essential to meeting the unique needs of each client. Unlike other physio or allied health businesses that adopt a one-size-fits-all approach, our team of therapists makes sure that each individual need is met with tailored care and a specialised, qualified professional.

Our team of healthcare experts aren’t just highly skilled and experienced but also compassionate and committed to your well-being.

Why families trust Talk Health Therapy

A few things our families tell us matter most when they’re deciding who to trust with their own care, or their child’s:

We meet you where you are

Home visits let us see how someone actually moves through their own space, what equipment might help with day-to-day life, and how therapy can fit around your routine rather than the other way around.

We’re upfront about cost

For NDIS participants, we only charge travel one way, and we’ll always talk you through pricing and billing in plain terms before anything is booked in. Our free NDIS Budget Calculator also lets you search support items and estimate costs based on your plan, giving you a clear starting point before your first conversation with us.

We talk to the people who matter

Parents, carers, and support coordinators are part of every conversation. We know support coordinators carry a lot of responsibility in making a participant’s plan work in practice, and we try to make that easier with clear updates and reporting that doesn’t need chasing.

We focus on outcomes, not appointment numbers

Our clinicians build plans around what you’re actually working towards, and we check in on whether therapy is still heading in the right direction, rather than booking you in indefinitely out of habit.

It all started here...

The name Talk Health Therapy comes from a simple belief: people deserve to understand their own health, not just receive it. Our founder, Ben, spent years working in aged care and private practice settings where appointment targets came before the person sitting in front of him. He saw clients booked in week after week without ever properly understanding why they were doing what they were doing, or what it was meant to achieve.

That experience shapes how we work today. We want every client and family to leave a session understanding what we did, why we did it, and how it connects to the goals they actually care about. Empowering people with that understanding, alongside guided, hands-on support, is the standard we hold ourselves to and the standard every new clinician joins us under.

Let’s talk about what you need

If you have a new NDIS plan and are looking for an occupational therapist, speech pathologist, or physiotherapist, or if a previous provider hasn’t felt like the right fit, we’d welcome a conversation about what you’re working towards and whether we’re able to help.

The same goes for families exploring a Support at Home Package or CHSP support for an older parent or relative.

Call us on 07 2111 6983, send an enquiry, or make a referral through our online form, and we’ll talk through where you’re at and what support might look like from here.
