Senior Adult Occupational Therapist – Brisbane

Talk Health Therapy is expanding and seeking a passionate Senior Adult Occupational Therapist to join its team, working within either the NDIS or CHSP stream. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of Brisbane locals by supporting their independence and wellbeing in the comfort of their own homes.

As part of a close-knit, privately-owned business, you’ll enjoy a supportive environment that values both client care and staff wellbeing. With weekly KPIs capped at just 26 hours (including travel), the role promotes a healthy work-life balance. You’ll work four clinical days and one admin day per week, with the flexibility to manage your own schedule and work locally.

What’s on offer:
  • Salary up to $110,000 + super
  • Mazda CX30 (or equivalent), fuel, laptop, and phone
  • $2,500 annual professional development budget + 2 paid CPD days

Your responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-home assessments of emotional, cognitive, and physical functioning
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions to enhance quality of life
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
  • Provide NDIS or CHSP services, including home modifications and assistive technology reports
  • Maintain organised documentation and progress reports
Who you are:
  • AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with 5+ years’ experience
  • Community experience preferred; CHSP experience a bonus
  • NDIS experience essential
  • Strong communication skills and a valid driver’s licence

You’ll start with a structured induction designed to set you up for success. This includes shadowing opportunities, training sessions, and introductions to our team and systems. You’ll also meet your team leader, who will introduce you to the rest of the team and outline expectations for your clinical caseload. Our onboarding process is all about helping you feel confident, connected, and ready to begin supporting clients.

You’ll have the chance to work in a variety of settings, including gyms, pools, outdoor spaces, in-home, daycare centres, and anywhere else that best supports our clients’ needs. Every day brings something new!
